This is a suggested workflow for making a book listing entry.  This process works best if Google Books and LabAutopedia are open in separate browser windows, as you will need to move back and forth several times. Refer to the help page Editing a page for information about editing operations.

The recommended source of book images and information is Google Books.  Once you've found a book in Google Books, click on the "About this Book" tab. To copy the book cover image, right click on the book image in Google Books and save the file to your PC (right click, save picture as) using the name format ISBN xxxxxxx (copy ISBN xxxxx from the Google page and paste it into the file name field when saving).  To upload the image from your PC to the LabAutopedia image library, use the "Upload file" feature in the left sidebar of LabAutopedia.  Refer to Help:Uploading files for more information on uploading (you cannot be in page edit mode to upload an image).

Now, choose the EDIT tab of this page. All book entries should be placed under the proper alphabetical heading.  The entries on the page are all in tables with invisible borders.  If you click Edit on the page, you'll see the table field under each alphabetical header.  To add another row to a table, right click on the table, and choose "Row", and "Insert Row After" or "Insert Row Before".

Return to Google Books, highlight and copy the book information (under More Details), then paste to the right field of the destination table row in LabAutopedia.  Return to Google Books, highlight and copy the URL for that page, then in LabAutopedia insert that URL to the book title (using the Insert/Edit Link tool - see Help).  Finally, highlight the book title and make the text BOLD (using the Bold toolbar icon or keystroke Ctrl-B).

To insert the image you just uploaded, use the Insert/Edit image icon in the toolbar (See Help: Inserting Image).  Remember, you named the image based on the ISBN number.  Once you have identified the image and the Image Properties window is open, enter 110 as the image width and 150 as the image height.  Click OK.  The image will insert to the top of the page.  Click on and drag the image into the left field of the destination table row.  If you have sized the image correctly, it should look like the others on the page.  If you need to resize the image, right click on the image to re-open the Image Properties window.

Click on the SAVE button at the bottom of the page to save your work.  Do not stay in the edit more more than 15 minutes w/o saving, or the system may timeout
