JALA - Journal of Laboratory Automation

The Journal of Laboratory Automation (JALA) is a multi-disciplinary, bimonthly international peer-reviewed journal devoted to the advancement of technology in the laboratory. It is an official journal of the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening, and provides a unique forum for the presentation of method-focused scientific papers and related news and product announcements.

JALA authors, readers and reviewers are academic, commercial and government researchers, scientists and engineers who conduct research and develop new technologies to increase productivity, elevate data quality, reduce lab process cycle times or enable experimentation that otherwise would be impossible.

JALA scientific content opens for public access one year after final publication.

This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Impact Factor

  • 2014 Impact Factor: 1.879
  • 2014 Rankings: 41 out of 74 in the Analytical Chemistry category; and 50 out of 79 in the Biochemical Research Methods category.

JBS - Journal of Biomolecular Screening

The Journal of Biomolecular Screening (JBS) is the leading peer-reviewed journal focusing on drug discovery sciences. JBS publishes information that enables researchers to evaluate current technologies and incorporate applications to enhance performance and objectives. Articles emphasize scientific and technical advances in target identification/validation; assay development; high-throughput screening (targeted biochemical and biological, phenotypic, toxicological, ADME/PK); lead generation/optimization; virtual screening, informatics (data analysis, statistics, bio and chemoinformatics); patient selection and pharmacodynamics (PD) marker assays; and much more!

JBS scientific content opens for public access one year after final publication.

This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
