Sometimes discoveries and inventions can be a dangerous thing to the inventors. Innovators are often at risk when delving into the unknown and untried. The below link shows just how dangerous this can be, inventors killed by their own discoveries. Some are serious, some just a matter of bad luck and others result from very poor planning. Either way, it points out the risks that people take who venture into unknown ground. Sometimes it takes people of vision to set the foundations for future advances.
